Wow – MySpace Sold for $580 Million

So I’m a little (lot) late on this, but wow – $580 million? Wow. I mean, wow.

Let’s keep in mind that Weblogs, Inc. just sold for roughly $25 million. That’s alot less than $580 million.

Now I certainly don’t know the details here, and I know MySpace has a huge user base, and that’s very valuable. But if anything, I would have though Weblogs, Inc. would have sold for more than MySpace… like much more. Wow. Seems like way too much to me. IMO the potential and practicality for monetizing Weblogs, Inc. is much better than that of MySpace, but good luck to both of them.
